The entrance has really been bugging me. It’s been cracked, ugly and far from level. Today, I mixed up some mortar to level off the entrance. It turned out quite nicely – no leakage and ample leeway towards the bases of the doors.
After the mortar burned and settled, I installed a bespoke diamond thread step. The space underneath will be used for shoe storage.
