Behold, we are now moving indoors, into the look & feel part of the project. This is awesome, as this will really start turning this into a “place” rather than a “project”. As I started to test paint the walls (I was planning to do it all myself) I realized that old paint and plaster cracked and rose off the walls, as the new paint was setting. My knowledge of paint is very limited, so I decided to stop right there.
Luckily, I happen to know some really amazing and skilled painters, and they promptly showed up and declared that the whole place would need a layer of “binder” prior to applying the flat, chalk white paint. I decided to drop the whole paint project and leave it to the professionals.
