As the season draws to a close and temperatures are falling, we are making one last major push in the tower. This weekend – pouring the new foundation. A major milestone in the restoration – both in terms of work but also for the satisfaction of having overcome one of the major hurdles towards making this remarkable structure habitable.
In less than 10 hours, we built the sewage system, ran new electrical wires, insulated, introduced a 32 mm PEM water line into the building… and completed the 2-zone floor heating. This was one insane push by my standards, and I salute Peter the Builder for his stamina and rock solid guidance, knowledge and performance. Concrete will arrive tomorrow… rock n’ roll, people!
