Proper planning is the key to time saving, success and… personal satisfaction 🙂 I have worked really hard on getting all dimensions & geometry for the half-way floor level right, so that there will be a minimum of alterations once the platform is to be installed in the tower.
It’s a tough undertaking however, as the tower is 2 hours away from my home means that you can’t just go there to verify anything. I hope my original laser measurements are correct. Here’s one of my projecting sketches – establishing appropriate location & rotation of the spiral staircase.
